The vines are very low vigour, producing only a small crop of intensely concentrated fruit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasting Notes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hugely concentrated on the nose, pure merlot fruit, rich plum, dark cherry and mulberry with an intriguingly light dry leaf and olive character, reminiscent of a good Pomeral vintage. A full, rich palate follows with dark plums and cherries. Very focused and beautifully structured, this wine will only grow and become quite velvety with a few years aging. Cedary tannins give a long finish. Needs time to best enjoy.
